Rolator instead of walker!
If your boss has a big birthday, then of course you want to surprise him with an unusual gift. Roland Kundmüller’s team worked hard for the brewer’s 50th birthday and created a special brew especially for the birthday child. Weeks of work and strict secrecy took place behind Roland’s back. The result is Rolator, a naturally cloudy Doppelbock with a lot of oomph and a play on words in the name. Roland and the ending -ator, which is used in technical jargon for high-proof beers, became Rolator.
A rogue who thinks of anything else!
Rolator presents itself festively in a golden robe and flows naturally cloudy into the glass. A stately white head of foam sits atop the beer and exudes a wonderfully hoppy scent. Juicy orange meets ripe peaches, soft apricots, pink grapefruit, pear and a hoppy herbal aroma on the nose. The malt contributes a subtle caramel note, which is accompanied by a hint of vanilla and honey. The initial taste reveals a full-bodied beer with a heavy body and well-balanced aromas. Malt and hops join hands, both parties show their best side. The Rolator is sweet, fruity, tart and herbal, slightly bitter and nice and tart.
We would love to receive a birthday present like that one day!
