The Bierothek® team wishes you a Happy New Year!
As experts in craft beer, we have a great enthusiasm for brews that are made with sophistication, craftsmanship, modern recipes, brand new technology and perhaps one or two special ingredients. We love elaborately hopped India Pale Ales with ten different types of hops, specialties that have matured for years in whiskey barrels, imperial pastry stouts that taste like pastries from grandma’s kitchen thanks to lactose, spices, cocoa shavings or similar spices, or sour beers that contain wild yeasts that can hardly be tamed be fermented. It can’t be unusual enough for us. But sometimes we crave a beer that is simply uncomplicated, drinkable and down-to-earth. In these moments we ignore the jungle of unusual craft beers and grab a light beer.
If you sometimes feel that way, then we can recommend the light one from Leikeim, for example. The Franconian brewery has a particularly mild light beer in its range that caresses the soul with a harmonious balance of exquisite, light malt and delicately fruity hops. The light-footed full beer scores with a stable head of foam, a tempting malt scent, gently sparkling carbon dioxide and a balanced aroma.
Sometimes happiness lies in the simple things.
