Our beer sommelier Marco Liebig tested the Pale Ale from the Binkert brewery for you and is thrilled!
The Pale Ale scores points as soon as it is poured and welcomes the excited beer drinker in a naturally cloudy amber tone. A firm, fine-pored foam crowns the beer and exudes an exciting potpourri of aromas. The fine sommelier's nose smells blooming daisies, juicy orange and melon as well as a light, tangy citrus note.
The initial taste follows this first impression and is juicy and fruity sweet with notes of freshly harvested blood oranges, ripe melon and a hint of bitterness that is reminiscent of lemon zest.
The sweet fruitiness extends into the finish, while the mild bitterness fades away quite quickly and wonderfully gently.
The Franconian Pale Ale from Binkert is an easy-to-drink beer with an exciting bitterness that gives the beer its complex body. Perfect and extremely refreshing at high temperatures!
Beer sommelier Marco Liebig recommends a fresh gazpacho with this summer beer specialty. This Mediterranean summer classic is a soup served cold, made with tomatoes, peppers, cucumber and yesterday's bread. Garlic and lovage give the soup that certain something extra. Our favorite toppings for gazpacho are bread cubes sautéed in olive oil, sunflower seeds, roasted nuts, a dollop of sour cream or fresh celery stalks cut into thin slices.
