If Maisel & Friends have their way, craft beer should be a permanent fixture on the national and international beer market by 2025 at the latest. As one of the pioneers of the scene, the Bayreuth brewery is actively working to achieve this goal with its excellent beer creations.
The brewery already has a wide range of delicious craft beers. The brewery company’s IPA can almost be described as a classic in its range, because it has everything you would expect from a classic IPA.
The IPA is one of the brewery’s flagships and impresses with its hoppy excellence.
In the glass, the beer appears in a strong copper tone with a firm head of foam. As it should be with a real IPA, you can smell the fruity hop bouquet immediately after opening the bottle. Red berries tickle the nose and combine with floral hops, fine citrus notes and tropical fruit to create a tempting mixture. A real hop fireworks display spreads across the tongue: refreshingly fruity-sweet and crunchy bitter at the same time. Subtle malt and citrus aromas cleverly offset the impressive 50 bitter units. The typical IPA bitterness sets in quickly, but is not too dominant alongside the overwhelming fruitiness.
Maisel & Friends IPA leaves a strong impression without being unbalanced or overwhelming. Succeeded!
