Schorsch’s Schorschbock Ice 30 presents itself in a warm, coppery amber tone in the glass. A delicate veil of beige foam crowns the beer for a few seconds before dissipating and giving way to the aroma that rises with the occasional small bubbles from the bottom of the glass. The Schorschbock exudes the scent of a fine liqueur: sweet, slightly smoky maple syrup meets the aromatic honey of orange blossoms, a hint of licorice, creamy marzipan and hot, spicy schnapps on the nose.
