The Pils is one of the most popular beers in Germany and despite the overwhelming amount of creative, tasty and unusual craft beers, it is still a popular drink. Sometimes it just has to be a classic!
On these occasions we recommend the Weißenoher Pils. This beer creation doesn’t shine with extraordinary ingredients, innovative brewing techniques or a crass background story - it shines with its simple, to the point and perfectly composed taste. The brewers have selected the most aromatic hops of the season and represent the holy trinity of the most important hop-growing regions in Germany with Hallertauer Tradition, Herkules and Perle as well as Hersbrucker Berghopfen and Spalt Select. A subtly balanced amount of Pilsner malt ensures balance and a well-balanced aroma profile. In a gentle process and in peace, a wonderful Pils is created from these hand-picked raw materials.
The classic from the Weißenohe monastery brewery flows into the glass in brilliant gold and has a snow-white foam crown on the crystal-clear body. A multifaceted hop flower rises in the nose and makes you want to take the first sip. The first taste shows a lean beer with elegant lightness, beautiful freshness and a tasty balance between hops and malt. The latter forms a soft base that tastes of oven-fresh biscuit and sun-ripened grain. This is followed by floral hop notes with hints of green herbs.
If you are looking for a classic, mild and drinkable pilsner, you have come to the right place!
