An ice-cold pilsner on a hot summer day, fresh hops meets fine citrus fruit and a crunchy bitterness, pure gold, which runs down the thirsty throat and provides immediate refreshment - that is bitter luck!
The brewers of the Princely Brewery in Ellingen express their love and passion for good Pilsner with a whole range of incredibly delicious beers in their range. A highlight is Herbes Glück: The beer, brewed in the classic Pilsner style, is brewed with hops from the sunny Ellinger slopes. For a particularly hoppy character, the Pils is also cold-hopped. This process ensures a maximum of hops and deepens the aroma density enormously. The result is Herbes Glück, a hoppy pilsner with classic aromas and an extra helping of hops.
The liquid happiness presents itself in a light gold tone in the glass and has a foamy crown on the shiny, fine, clear body. A powerful hop flower rises into the nose and tempts you to take the first sip. This reveals a slim body with an elegant composition of dominant hops and sweet malt. The latter caresses the palate with grainy notes and a hint of freshly baked bread. The hops round off the play of aromas with dry bitterness, fine tartness and notes of grass, herbs, straw and tangy citrus fruit.
