The brewers at Yankee & Kraut have a pretty good recipe to forget about corona, quarantine, money worries and the stress of everyday life, at least for a sweet while: their latest creation, Brain Candy, gives your brain a short, wonderful break and pampers your taste buds at the same time the fruity aromas of tropical fruits. What better medicine for head chaos?

Brain Candy is a juicy Double Dry Hopped New England IPA with a fruity taste thanks to the Loral Cryo, Citra Cryo and Idaho 7 Cryo hops. An aromatic trio of fine malts balances the hop power and provides a soft base. The DDH NEIPA flows into the glass in the color of sun-ripened ears of corn and ends with a thick, airy head of foam. The initial taste tickles the tongue with sparkling carbon dioxide and a selection of tropical fruit notes: A number of juicy citrus fruits provide a fine acidity and notes of grapefruit, lemongrass and lemon. The taste of ripe melon meets peach, mango and pineapple as well as floral hop notes. A clear, clean bitterness accompanies the fruity play of aromas and ends the beer enjoyment with a bang. The strong 7.4% alcohol are well integrated into the overall picture and do not reduce the refreshing character of the beer.
