The Welde brewery is constantly striving for innovation, which is why the Helle in the Baden brewery’s range is not a simple classic, but a young, fresh interpretation of traditional beer.
In order to put their own stamp on the down-to-earth Hellen, the Welde brewers decided to stuff the warehouse with the aromatic hops variety Citra. The dry hops with the hops, which are known for their fruity citrus character, ensure an incomparably fresh taste and a maximum of lemon notes with moderate bitterness.
Weldes Citra Helles presents itself in a rust-red honey tone in the glass and adorns itself with a stable crown of fragrant foam. The white splendor tempts you to try it with a fine smell of lemon, freshly mown grass and floral hops. The initial drink beguiles the senses with the aroma of sun-kissed lemons and tangy limes. Little by little, soft notes of spicy forest honey and floral notes join in and enrich the play of aromas with beautiful sweetness and feather-light elegance. The malt rounds off the taste with notes of freshly baked bread. The culmination of the beer enjoyment is hoppy and delights with well-balanced bitterness.
The Citra Helle from the Welde brewery is a summer beer with a modern touch and a great refreshment factor.
