Sometimes life feels like a rollercoaster ride between chaos and order. Clutter builds up before us like an insurmountable mountain, we put off tidying up for days, nearly drowning in junk, dust bunnies, unwashed dishes, and piles of used clothes, until we finally pull ourselves together, take control of our chaos in one swift action, and bring structure back into our lives. For a few precious moments – because then the hustle and bustle begins all over again.
Anyone who doesn't want to break down under this Sisyphean task must accept a compromise: controlled chaos. The team at Atelier Vrai recognized this and created a beer-based monument to the principle.
Controlled Chaos is a New England Pale Ale with a brisk 5.8% ABV and a sturdy physique thanks to the use of barley, wheat, and oat malts. The densely cloudy, peach-colored brew is cold-hopped with Bru-1 and Riwaka and crowned with a creamy white foam. The aroma and flavor delight with a summery composition of lime, orange, passion fruit, papaya, and lemon. A hint of caramel, subtle notes of elderflower, and an intense bitterness impressively round out this beer experience.
A beer for masters of chaos and all those who want to become one!
