In their Vertical Verses series, the Atelier Vrai brewery indulges in a bit of a rant. With each of the five beers, they take aim at a pet peeve that drives many of us up the wall. People so focused on their phones that they forget the world around them. Inconsiderate people who clog public restrooms with paper towels and all sorts of other rubbish and then walk off without a second thought. Influencers who have amassed massive followings despite lacking any real skills or talent. Romantics who disregard social norms and exchange passionate kisses on the first date, or people who take out their frustration and anger on innocent strangers like the person at the supermarket checkout, the neighbor, or the ticket seller at the train station.

Angry With Me is a full-bodied Double West Coast IPA that calms even the most heated tempers with its intoxicating 8.9% ABV and a fruity symphony of citrus and tropical fruits. The brew pours into the glass a delicate, cloudy golden color, crowned with a small layer of pristine white foam. A fruity aroma entices the palate, revealing a flavor profile of pink grapefruit, lime, and sun-drenched orange. The malty base tastes of creamy caramel, while the hops contribute a resinous bitterness alongside the fruit explosion.
