The horny Zig is part of the very first line-up of the green anarchist. The tasty Summer Ale is brewed with light, flaky Kölsch yeast and, with its crunchy 40 bitter units, is not a shandy.
In addition to two types of malt, Michael aka the Green Anarchist uses the aroma-intensive hop varieties Saphir, Hallertauer Tradition and Hüll Melon, all of which are organically grown. The same applies to the malt, which, as the so-called old country malt variety, conjures up pure nature in the beer. This handpicked selection of natural raw materials results with concentrated power a beer that is bursting with taste and exclusivity.
The Geile Zig flows into the glass in a naturally cloudy amber tone and adorns itself with a stately crown of airy, white foam. A strong bouquet of hops presents itself on the nose and makes you want to take the first sip with notes of freshly mown grass, juicy melon and blooming summer meadow. This does not disappoint and delights the tongue and the palate with a sophisticated range of hops: Fresh, fruity, wonderfully grassy, with notes of green herbs, refreshing lemon and exotic fruit.
The Geile Zig gets its light character from the special combination of Pils and wheat malt, as well as the addition of fresh Kölsch yeast. Citrus-like, green fragrances accompany the slim, straw-yellow glowing malt body and ideally round off the refreshing experience. An uncomplicated drinking pleasure, perfect for mild summer evenings. Green anarchist Summer Ale takes you sip by sip back to your whole personal hot time.
