Kaiserweisse has a long tradition at the Tyrell Brewing Art Studio: Year after year, Dr. Thomas Tyrell develops a special Berliner Weisse. This exquisite brew is the prelude to his annual beer menu: To make beer more popular as an accompaniment to exquisite dishes, the resourceful brewer composes a beer menu each year, consisting of an aperitif, main course, and dessert. His heavenly trio brings presence and character to the glass and crowns every dinner with refined flavor and perfectly balanced aromas. Each beer is bottled in champagne bottles and sealed with a real cork.
Each Kaiserweisse is a tribute to the classic Berliner Weisse of the 1920s, brought into the new millennium with finesse and intuition. To do justice to the original, Dr. Thomas Tyrell uses heritage yeast cultures from the heyday of Berliner Weisse. The brew is gently fermented in several stages. The addition of lactic acid bacteria supports the yeast and delivers a harmonious acidity with delicate fruit notes. To give the beer its final touch and a complex depth, it continues to mature after bottling.
The Kaiserweisse of 2025 is a triple-brewed variety, boasting a lively 10.0% alcohol content and brewed with hand-picked wild hops. An unparalleled delight, it combines elegant acidity with zesty citrus notes, dry white wine character, warm apple aromas, and a hint of sun-drenched grain.
