Although we can enjoy every season, spring is still our secret favorite. We love the moment when the first warm ray of sunshine of the year hits our skin and ushers in a more light-footed time. We can't get enough of the sprouting greenery, smelling every single flower on the way to work and listening in delight to the excited singing of the birds. We spend our lunch break outside, admiring the industrious activity of nesting blackbirds and strolling at a lively pace through the awakening landscape.
After the long, dark winter, spring is a celebration and many breweries crown the occasion with matching beer. Year after year, the Veldensteiner brewery contributes a spring march to the festivities, which calms those fluttery spring feelings with a gentle 5.6% alcohol content.
The classic Märzen is made according to a traditional recipe and contains, in addition to the purest water from the rock spring, selected hops from the Hersbruck Mountains and a range of the finest special malts. This array of exquisite raw materials forms a drinkable, amber-golden beer that impresses with its malty charm, full-bodied character and a fresh hint of hops.
