Like most of us, brewers are creatures of habit, but every now and then the hop artists need a change. In the Brauhaus Vulkan, the masters of the brewhouse are kept happy with a series of limited special beers. The series is aptly named “Limited” and gives brewers the opportunity to be creative and try out their ideas. The project is now in its eighth round, but we would like to introduce number seven to you at this point.
The Vulkan Bio Limited Sud 07 is a particularly fine drop: The Belgian Style Dubbe inspires with a strong 7.0% alcohol content and a densely woven taste profile of dark fruit, roasted malt, caramel and spicy yeast.
In the glass, the Belgian beer from the Eifel is chestnut brown with ruby red reflections. An ivory-colored head of foam rounds off the magnificent look and smells seductively of plums marinated in brown sugar and rum and strongly toasted malt. The beer is full-bodied when drunk: Velvety notes of toffee, warm spices, yeast, freshly baked rye bread and raisins combine with a mild roasted aroma to create a sensual composition. A fine bitterness runs through the drinking pleasure and concludes it with a strong impression.
