Our highlight in July is without a doubt the raspberries. We look forward to the harvest time of these cheeky little fruits every year and, as soon as the starting signal is given, we eat as many as possible. We pick them fresh from the bush and transport them straight into our mouths, we make delicious jam from them, bake Swiss rolls with raspberries and cream, spice up our salads with them, conjure up mousse, ice cream and other desserts from them, put them in smoothies and refine our breakfast cereal with them.
The team at BrewDog is also a fan of raspberries and has already created one or two brews with the little red guys. At this point we would like to introduce you to Berlin Pilot #43: The Raspberry White IPA 2.0 is a fruity India Pale Ale that puts the summer fruit at the center.
The berry speciality comes in a warm peach gold and is crowned with an impressive cap of solid foam. A tantalizing scent of freshly harvested raspberries and white chocolate fills the air. The first sip is promising: juicy raspberry dominates the taste, notes of gently roasted grain, fresh hops and white chocolate underline the play of aromas in the background. If you fancy a full load of raspberry in beer form, BrewDogs Berlin Pilot #43 Raspberry White IPA 2.0 is the right choice!
