According to the Carlsberg brewery, the people of Denmark have been enjoying beer for almost 5,000 years. We have not verified this claim, but we can certainly understand the Danes' historical enthusiasm for the barley juice. Carlsberg is one of the most popular breweries in the country and has been supplying its people with tasty brews for more than 150 years. Although this is only a fraction of the supposed 5,000 years, the brewery is still enjoying great success.
The brewery's beers are of course a major factor in this success. One notable example in the core range is Nordic, a pilsner with a light, fluffy 0.0% alcohol content. Carlsberg promises customers full flavor without any alcohol and we think they deliver.
Nordic is a golden yellow drink with a crystal clear body and a fleeting head of snow-white foam. A lively carbonation makes bubbles dance in the glass and brings a fine scent of light malt, honey bread and freshly mown grass to the surface. The first sip reveals a slim, dry pilsner with gentle grain notes, citrus fresh hints, grassy elements and a hint of creamy honey. Although the brew is very light-footed, it still brings a good amount of flavor to the tongue and quenches the thirst for beer on all occasions when a clear head is needed.
