When it comes to fermentation, breweries have countless options. They can take the classic route and ferment their beer with a yeast strain suited to the style. They can choose a yeast strain that doesn’t actually fit the style, or leave the world of cultivated yeasts behind entirely and dive into the adventure of wild yeasts. They can assist fermentation by adding sugar or ferment multiple times instead of just once. The latter method is what has made Cooper’s ales what they are: delicious, fresh, subtly balanced brews with a delicate haze and plenty of character.
The Australian brewery fills its brews into cans after the brewing process is complete and subjects them to a second fermentation in a warehouse with strictly controlled temperature.
Cooper’s Pacific Pale Ale also underwent this process. This deliciously drinkable brew pours a rich, cloudy, sunny yellow into the glass and is crowned with a head of ivory-colored foam. A citrusy aroma entices you to take a sip. The first taste reveals a crisp, fresh, hop-forward pale ale with flavors of tropical fruits, lemon, lime, and orange peel. Thanks to its light 4.2% alcohol content and lively carbonation, the Pacific Pale Ale is feather-light and refreshing. Perfect for long summer days and winter moments when you long for the light, warmth, and carefree spirit of summer.
