Our Earth orbits the Sun together with seven other planets, some asteroids and many moons. Each celestial body orbits the glowing ball of fire in the middle of the system at its own pace. The Earth needs a year to orbit the Sun, while Venus only needs 225 days and Uranus more than 84 years. We align our entire lives with the Sun and have structured our time into day and night in order to have as much light as possible.
The Espiga brewery celebrated its tenth trip around the sun in 2024 with a series of celebratory brews. In addition to their Double Dry Hopped Triple IPA Triple Hyperactive Moon , the team created Another Trip Around The Sun. To celebrate and toast their birthday in style, the team gave themselves one of their favorite styles as a gift: The classic West Coast IPA is an essential part of the craft beer revolution and a favorite at Espiga.
Another Trip Around The Sun is brewed with Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Zeus hops and cold hopped. This double hopping creates an intensely fruity play of aromas that combines smooth, light malt with notes of red grapes, raspberries, citrus fruit and hints of pine resin. Espiga’s anniversary beer is a delicious homage to the sun and a tasty congratulations to ten years of brewing adventure.
