The Browar Stu Mostów from Wrocław has specialized in the production of excellent dark beers and has a whole range of fabulous porters and stouts in its range. In order to decorate the brews with a particularly dense, creamy and rich head and to give the barley juice a luxurious creaminess and a smooth, almost thick mouthfeel, it adds a portion of nitrogen to its brews. This technique was perfected in the course of the craft beer movement and has given us a wealth of extravagant creations.
Some of them come from Browar Stu Mostów. The ultra-creamy Winter Stout NITRO, for example. This seasonally limited pleasure experience brings an impressive 6.1% alcohol content, a body in the darkest mahogany and a creamy head to the glass. The beer borrows its strong fullness from barley and oat malt, while the extra-creamy texture and soft sweetness are thanks to the addition of lactose and nitrogen. The noble tipple smells and tastes like a culinary winter fairytale: chocolate with a delicate melt, roasted grain, cinnamon, freshly grated orange peel, roasted almonds, coffee, exotic tonka bean and a hint of liquorice enchant the nose and mouth. A harmoniously seasoned bitterness skilfully rounds off the Winter Stout NITRO and balances the powerful sweetness.
With beers like this in the pantry, winter can come!
