At this point we would like to introduce you to a very special treat: Burbulosé was created by the Lithuanian brewers at Kuro Aparatūro and belongs to the “Bière de Champagne” category. This exquisite beer style is a kind of hybrid between the noble sparkling wine and conventional barley juice and is fermented with fine champagne yeast. This special strain gives the beer a sparkling texture, a delicate acidity and an elegant, dry character.
In order to crown their creation, the brewers did not leave it at that. Burbulosé goes through three phases of fermentation: the first is stimulated by bacteria, the second is traditional brewer’s yeast, and number three is under the influence of luxurious champagne yeast. At the end of this time-consuming process is a champagne-colored beer with a subtle acidity, which the brewers give the finishing touch and its wonderful color with a truckload of fresh cherries.
Finally, Burbulosé is a ruby-red beer adorned with a fleeting veil of pink foam and enticingly smells of sweet berry wine and sparkling sparkling wine. The initial taste goes in the same direction and tickles the taste buds with the summery aroma of ripe cherries. Notes of wine, caramel and wild berries join in. The beer has a fine acidity and is wonderfully refreshing.
