Just a stone's throw from Lüneburg, we brew beer steeped in local history. Where salt was extracted and boiled down in the Lüneburg saltworks until 1980, salt workers once cleared entire birch forests to supply fuel for the saltworks – thus shaping the stark landscape of the Lüneburg Heath. Gose is a characterful beer with a story – and we've brewed a piece of Lüneburg into it: real salt from the Lüneburg saltworks! Even today, the Lüneburg Saltworks Museum Association still produces salt in small, artisanal batches at the historic saltworks. Other ingredients, such as coriander seeds and a touch of local flavor, give LüneGose its fresh, lemony taste with a slightly tart note. All the aromas are subtle yet clearly recognizable – perfect for beer lovers who prefer balanced flavor profiles to extreme flavor peaks. One sip evokes memories of the old Hanseatic era, salt workers, and honest craftsmanship. Forget boring beers – here comes a true original in your glass. LüneGose: Salty. Crisp. Lüneburg.
