Blue Coast

In the wonderful world of the Blue Coast brewery, clouds are made of cotton candy, chocolate flows in lazy waves over hill and dale, and aniseed schnapps is always ready to drink in the fridge. The French brewers have a passion for beers outside the mainstream and like to drink creatively. This inclination - or rather conviction - extends to both their work and their entire lives.

From Southern California to the French Riviera

Because life is too short and beautiful for monotonous beer, a few friends took a trip to southern California. Here, the craft beer culture is rich and diverse and you can taste the finest, hand-brewed barley juice on every corner. Inspired by this culinary journey, a small group (the "Bluecoasters", as the brewery's staff like to call themselves) formed who wanted to put the experiences of their trip into their own company and their own brews. The Blue Coast brewery saw the light of day in 2017 and has been spreading the word about exceptional, handmade and imaginative beer ever since. At first, their sphere of influence extended only to Nice, the brewery's home town, but soon word of their work spread and people outside of France also developed a taste for it.

Creative beer from creative people

Under the expert guidance of master brewer Robert Bush from Sweden, Blue Coast now produces a stable core range, which is enlivened by special brews, seasonal specialties and collaborations. The individual brews couldn't be more different, but they all have the same creative approach, unconventional ingredients and careful production. With beers like the Cotton Candy Clouds NEIPA or the Imperial Stout Choc'waves, the team presents us with a magnificent range of flavors and proves that they know their craft. Blue Coast's employees act as beer ambassadors and want to infect people with their passion for good beer. Their own guiding principles such as curiosity, transparency, integrity, team spirit and the constant pursuit of the best taste and excellent quality flow into every single drop of beer. The brewers are often guests of other breweries or invite them to their own hallowed halls - to join forces to make even better beer, to inspire each other, to drink together and to make friends all over the world.

Taste Blue Coast’s handcrafted beers and discover new, exciting flavors that you won’t otherwise find in your beer glass!
