After the spring beer comes the Maibock!

As a traditional brewery in Bavaria, the Ayinger private brewery has a well-filled festival calendar. The holidays want to be celebrated and every festival day has its own beer. Lived beer culture in its most delicious form.

A favorite in the festive year is the Maibock: the light beer is more light-footed than its colleagues, but still scores with the strong character and the harmonious balance of aromas of a strong beer. The Maibock is traditionally served between March and May. It is the perfect companion for the exuberant dance in May and sweetens the first warm days of the year with powerful malt, the finest Hallertau hops and a strengthening 6.9% alcohol content.

The May buck from Ayinger flows into the glass in a bright golden yellow. A stately crown of airy, white foam sits enthroned on the clear body, which invites you to drink with a wonderful scent of roasted malt, creamy caramel, ripe pears, freshly mown grass and some liqueur. The first sip reveals a full-bodied beer with a velvety-soft mouthfeel. The malt dominates the drinking pleasure and shows itself in all its facets: roasted grain meets oven-fresh bread, buttery toffee and white pepper on the palate. The hops and a little yeast round off the play of aromas with a touch of grass and light-footed fruitiness.
