Contrary to all prejudices, people in the far north don't just drink Pils. They also drink Bock beer. The Buddelship brewery is setting a good example for its fellow countrymen and offers its customers Käpt'n Kante - a full-bodied Bock with a Nordic name, Hamburg charm and an unusual hop kick.

Käpt´n Kante is based on a robust trio of light barley malt, Munich malt and Cara malt, which ensures a stable body, a grippy texture and lovely grain and honey notes in the taste. The finishing touch is provided by the cold hopping with the Tettnanger variety. The Buddelship´sche Bock presents itself in a warm orange gold in the glass and carries a crown of fluffy, snow-white foam on the densely cloudy body. A malt-accented bouquet tickles the nose and makes you excited for the first sip. The first impression is all about the grain: full notes of roasted malt envelop the palate and settle on the tongue with creamy honey notes and the aroma of oven-fresh bread. The hops stay discreetly in the background and contribute a gentle bitterness and a hint of herbs to the play of aromas. With an alcohol content of 7.5%, Kapt´n Kante provides pleasant warmth in body and soul even in a stiff breeze.
