Black as night and just as mysterious.
The porter is naturally a strong, full-bodied beer. Originally it was intended to keep the English dock workers happy in winter, but today it is particularly popular because of its intense aroma. The porter from the Binkert brewery is so aromatic and tasty that it is considered the beer drinker's dessert.
The Mainsaidla Porter comes in a deep, dark mahogany tone that is typical of porters. A fine-pored, hazelnut-brown foam crowns the aromatic beer and exudes a wonderful mixture of freshly ground coffee and roasted hazelnuts. A good portion of roasted malt adds the aroma of soft caramel and perfectly frames the subtle bitter sweetness. The coffee aromas first appear in the voluminous drink and demonstrate the full power of the roasted malt with a wonderful bitter note. Creamy caramel joins in and brings a velvety sweetness. Dark chocolate, vanilla and the earthy sweetness of dried red fruits complement the play of aromas. The hop note that presents itself as you enjoy drinking adds an interesting twist. Hints of raisins and toffee with an earthy undertone emerge towards the end and make way for the delicately hoppy finish.
The porter from the Binkert brewery is an interesting porter beer with surprising fruit notes from beautiful Franconia.
