Beer is our favorite drink. It is a luxury food that brings joy to countless people. It is a mediator, a comfort maker, a thirst quencher and an opportunity to sit down at a table with your best friends and have a nice evening. Countless craft breweries prove to us that beer can also be a canvas for art, especially Maisel & Friends from Bayreuth.
The Franconian team has been releasing their so-called Artbeer for some time now - a clever combination of delicious beer and attractive works of art from a wide range of creative artists. Brewers and artists go through the process together, from initial planning to bottling, and design an overall concept that appeals to all the senses.
Artbeer #6 was created in collaboration with SUTOSUTO from Hamburg. The artist duo from the far north make sculptures and paintings that deal with contemporary themes and have a colorful style that fits perfectly with Maisel & Friends' bright, bold and modern brewing style. Behind the lady with the pink pageboy haircut, the cheeky hop cone mascot and the oversized sunglasses is a juicy Hazy IPA, which has been given a wonderfully fruity aroma with the hop varieties Amarillo, Callista, Cascade, Citra and Simcoe. The Artbeer #6 tastes of ripe stone fruit, tropical fruits, freshly harvested wild berries and a tangy hint of citrus.
Artful!
