Allow me, the polar bear.
The Eisbär is a wonderfully creamy Weizenbock from Munich Brew Mafia. The brewers have reinterpreted the Bavarian classic with wit and charm and given it a very special kick with the Polaris hop variety. This particular variety of hops is known for its distinctive flavor, reminiscent of ice cream candy. The refreshing taste wonderfully complements the traditional flavor palette of wheat beer: creamy banana, spicy clove and a little fresh twist.
The polar bear in the glass presents itself neither in glacier blue nor in white, but in a magnificent, slightly cloudy gold tone. A generous amount of snow-white foam crowns the copper-gold beer and exudes a tempting scent of ripe banana peppered with spicy cloves, ice candy and a hint of freshly mown grass complete the olfactory first impression. The initial taste is malty and tastes heavenly and creamy with sweet malt, banana milk, fresh yeast dough and yeast. Little by little the hops turn on and give the aromas a clean, clear note. Slightly floral and with the unmistakable note of ice candy, the hops spread across the palate and wonderfully round off the fine malt taste on the palate.
The Eisbär is a varied wheat with nice hints of hops and a wonderful freshness that you can hardly find in wheat beer.
