Raspberry Explosion!
When the creative brewers at Sudden Death tackle something, they do it right. No half measures at Sudden Death. You can see this not only in their hoppy Monsters of New England series, but also in their newest baby, a sour fruit beer. Harass, Berry is the absolute excess of berries and is so raspberry-y that if you consume too much you are very likely to turn into a raspberry. Willy Wonka would be impressed by this masterpiece of raspberry intrusiveness.
The guys from Timmendorfer Strand like to push the limits of what is possible. That's what happened with this creation, for which an incredible 250 kilograms of raspberries went into the cauldron. The result is a summery fruit bomb that screams “RASPBERRY”.
The berry-colored beer shimmers in all facets of raspberry and forms a small, quickly disappearing pink head of foam. A fresh - how could it be otherwise - raspberry aroma tickles your nose and makes you think of the raspberry harvest in grandma's garden. Red fingers, red mouth, pure raspberry happiness. The taste follows this first impression straight away and delights the tongue with a pure, clear raspberry aroma. A mild acidity accompanies the fruity sweetness and balances it cleverly - just as if you were actually eating a handful of freshly harvested raspberries. A tart, sour finish ends the raspberry experience and makes you want the next bottle.
A delicious raspberry overload!
