We are real summer children. As soon as June arrives, our hearts lighten. We shake off our shoes and don’t put them back on until September. We spend every free minute in the fresh air, soak up every single ray of sunshine, feel the warmth on our bare skin and, whenever the weather and time allow, jump into a lake, river or sea. We are floating on cloud nine, walking through the world with extra bounce in our steps and enjoying every little element of summer. We eat scoops of ice cream with whipped cream and gigantic watermelons, dream in the office of days off from the heat of days long gone, go to the outdoor pool almost every day and enjoy the benefits of the warm season with every fiber of our being.
The brewers at Nuremberg’s Orca Brau are also sun worshippers and express their enthusiasm for the wonderful season with a fine beer. The creation is called Nothing Beats Summer and was brewed a few years ago. Now it’s time for round 2 and we’re happy about it because the light and fluffy Session IPA with its tropical, fruity taste goes perfectly with everything summery.
Sunny citrus notes, exotic coconut, juicy hop notes and sparkling fresh carbonation – summer heart, what more could you want?
