The Orca Brau is located in Nuremberg, making it one of the countless Franconian breweries. The young brewery has a wide range of creative, artisanal beers and inspires both with unusual craft beers and Franconian classics.

The country beer definitely belongs in the latter category and is a down-to-earth crowd favorite of the brewery. The country beer is made with Franconian country barley and regional hops and is neither filtered nor pasteurized.

The fine natural product is presented in slightly tarnished gold in the glass and has a crown of white, airy foam on its head. A strong scent of sun-ripened malt, freshly baked bread, grassy hops and lemon peel makes your mouth water. The taste is just as delicious as the smell and caresses the palate with sweet malt, roasted grain, a hint of straw and spicy hops. Notes of freshly mown grass and zesty lemon peel round off the play of aromas wonderfully. The clean, strong bitterness gives the beer structure and extends into the finish.
