The Guess What series from Blech.Brut is entering a new round and we are ready to guess!
A few years ago, the Bamberg craft brewery Blech.Brut came up with a series that challenged its customers not only culinary but also intellectually. The beers are brewed with a selection of hops, although the label does not reveal which ones. Instead, it offers you a mosaic of fields of hop varieties that you can scrape freely. Only when you have decided on one or more fields and have scraped off the top layer will you see whether you were right. Fans from near and far have taken up the challenge and tested their skills at tasting the right hop varieties. The winners are those who didn’t scratch off any wrong fields.
The latest Guess What? bears the subtitle *70y of Bundestag Rants* and is brewed with, among other things, the Sabro hop variety. The remaining hops are secret, but maybe you can guess them based on the taste? We can give you the following clue: The Double New England IPA brings a mix of tropical fruit, grapefruit and pine resin into the glass. Maybe this information is enough for you to correctly identify it - but to be absolutely on the safe side, we recommend that you taste the good wine yourself!
