Over the last few years, the Blech.Brut brewery has developed its own design language for the design of its labels, which gives the range a futuristic, sometimes slightly disturbing look. A dizzying mixture of mystical creatures, bright colors, geometric patterns and extraterrestrial plants adorns the cans and expressively represents the artistic beer creations behind them.
Visionary Vertigo, the latest New England IPA from the Bamberg brewery, fits seamlessly into the concept. A purple hand is raised against a pink background and a turquoise triangle. Blue eyes with purple eyelids are stacked on the palm of the hand, all staring expressionlessly from the can. A truly imaginative dizziness!
The beer is based on barley, wheat and oat malt and is cold hopped with a generous portion of HBC 630 and Talus. A lively 6.5% alcohol content rounds off the pleasure. Visionary Vertigo flows into the glass in a strongly cloudy Korngold and piles up a densely porous crown of ivory-colored foam. The opaque brew smells of all kinds of fruit and a hint of pine resin. The first sip floods the palate with tropical notes, citrus fruit and ripe stone fruit. Trained tongues can taste grapefruit, peach, mango, white grapes and wild berries. Hints of spicy resin and freshly mown grass as well as a crisp bitterness accompany the play of aromas.
