The colorful labels of the beers from Barbarossa I Am are a colorful homage to the brewery’s home town: Hamburg’s landmarks such as the Michel, the Elbphilharmonie and the facades of the Speicherstadt can be found on all bottles. The abstract style and the colors give the design a cheerful playfulness and make the beers a real eye-catcher.
The brewery’s tasting glass has a somewhat more reduced design, but presents another, indispensable element of the Hanseatic city. Seagulls are just as much a part of the cityscape as the many bridges and cranes. You see them on every corner, they populate the squares, they buzz through the air and steal fish sandwiches from the hands of careless tourists. On the glass, the bird can be found in a flying position. The brewery’s logo and some deep green, stylized trees were also printed on it. The shape of the glass is reminiscent of a white wine glass without the high stem: the light, thin-walled vessel has a wide base and narrows towards the rim of the glass. The item is dishwasher safe and has a half-liter capacity.
The elegant cup shows the barrel-aged specialties of Barbarossa I Am in the best light and cuts a fine figure on the shelf even without filling.
