In modern parlance, a wingman (or wingwoman) is someone who supports you in your search for a partner. The wingperson will accompany you to the bar and ensure you present yourself in the best possible light. They’ll laugh out loud at your jokes, introduce you to potential matches from their circle of friends, and, if necessary, distract the persistent competition with a lengthy conversation about stock prices, the range and specifications of plant-based milks, or the weather. In short, the wingperson is your support in the flirting jungle.
BrewDog knows the principle and has expanded it with a new component: Their Wingman AF is a light and fluffy session IPA that will stay with you all evening, ensuring you go home without the risk of a hangover. The brew boasts a gentle 0.5% ABV and compensates for this perceived shortcoming with a crisp 35 bitterness units and a tidal wave of tropical, piney flavor.
BrewDog’s Wingman AF flows into the glass in a delicate lemon yellow, crowning its enticing appearance with a head of crisp white foam. Its aroma is composed of robust malt, ripe peach, and fresh citrus. The flavor profile is similar: robust pineapple, juicy orange, ripe melon, freshly grated lemon zest, pink grapefruit, peach, and a hint of pine resin. The lactose used makes the brew wonderfully creamy.
Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oat malt, lactose (milk) , yeast, hops, lactic acid, peach and pineapple flavoring
