Fine things come in small editions. At least that’s what the exquisite beers from the Moosehead brewery, which are brewed as part of the Small Batch Series, convey to us. The team at the Canadian brewery regularly releases special brews that are strictly limited and usually a little more experimental than the core range. The series gives brewers the opportunity to let off steam creatively, far away from the popular classics, and to try out new beer styles, exciting raw materials and innovative techniques. Whether it’s Belgian Wit with tangerine or a beery souvenir for a very special man - the Small Batch Series makes it possible!
Part 73 of this experiment is a classic wheat given a modern twist with raspberry juice. The brew brings a mild 5.5% alcohol content into the glass and presents itself in a delicately clouded sunny yellow. An airy crown of snow-white foam sits atop the gold and exudes the scent of oven-fresh raspberry cake. The fruity sweetness and acidity of the summer fruit run like a raspberry-red thread through the beer enjoyment and combine on the palate with light malt, green apple, floral hops and a harmonious bitterness to create an irresistible taste experience.
Mooseheads Small Batch Raspberry Wheat Ale is a feather-light pleasure that refreshes in the warm half of the year and awakens the wonderful summer mood in the cold months.
