Hazy Discovery is the title of a beer-based world tour that Browar Pinta from Poland has been on for several years. It is not clear whether the brewmasters are actually on a journey or whether they are simply dreaming of faraway countries and exciting cultures, but their beers speak of adventures and unforgettable experiences. Often it is friends and acquaintances who draw the team to a particular country, as is the case with the latest brew in the Hazy Discovery Tokyo series. Together with the Uchu Brewing brewery, Pinta has created another Hazy IPA that awakens wanderlust in us with its cosmopolitan design and tropical taste.
Hazy Discovery Tokyo offers us an incomparable view of the skyline of Japan’s capital and its landmark, Mount Fuji. Behind the picturesque motif is a brew with a pleasant 6.0% alcohol content, which has been enriched with oat flakes and flavored with the hops Columbus, Citra, Krush (aka HBC 586), Nelson Sauvin and Sabro. The creation presents itself in opaque peach gold in the glass and is crowned with a fleeting cap of fluffy, white foam. The scent and taste are made up of exotic fruit, juicy citrus fruit, white grapes, resinous forest aromas and freshly mown grass. A restrained bitterness skilfully rounds off the culinary journey.
