Browar Stu Mostów from Wrocław celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2024. To mark this happy occasion, the brewery launched not one, but a whole series of festive anniversary beers. These brews mark a decade of brewing success, a decade of the finest craft beer and a decade in which the brewery tirelessly developed and populated its range with countless delicacies.
WILD#29 is definitely a treat and has some special features in store for its connoisseurs. The birthday brew was created in collaboration with the Hudson Valley Brewery and was fermented with wild yeasts and bacteria. Instead of adding brewer’s yeast, the team relied on the cultures floating around in the air. The basis is a brew of barley and wheat malt, which has been enriched with oat flakes. Freshly harvested pine tips, which were added at various stages of the brewing process, provide a spicy kick.
Stu Mostów’s WILD#29 flows into the glass in a delicately cloudy old gold and is decorated with a small crown of fleeting, white foam. A citrus-fresh scent rises to the nose. The first sip follows the same pattern and caresses the tongue with freshly squeezed lemon juice, fragrant hay, fruity acidity, funky yeast notes and the wonderful spiciness of freshly plucked, lush green pine shoots. A tasty, light-footed pleasure with which we would like to toast another 10 years of Browar Stu Mostów!
