A berry dream in a glass!
Summer rears its head for the last time and brings bone-dry, hot days. Berry bushes and fruit trees bend under their delicious weight and the air is filled with the heavy, sweet scent of ripe fruit. It's time to pick the most tempting of the berries: the black currant. No other berry is more mysterious or aromatic than this fruit.
The latest creation from Sakiškių alus is a real fruit bomb: a Brut Ale with the incomparable fruit temptation of black currants. This beer is darker than the usual summer beer, but incredibly tangy and refreshing. Another special feature of Blackcurrant Brut Ale is the yeast with which it is fermented. To give the beer an exclusive touch, it is prepared with champagne yeast. A true beer specialty!
Sakiškių alus Blackcurrant Brut Ale flows into the glass in a wonderful, deep red berry tone and forms a coarse-pored, pink head of foam. The wonderful scents of freshly harvested berries rise from the airy foam. In addition to the dominant black currant, you can smell raspberries, dark blackberries, white currants and a hint of citrus. In the taste test, the berry bomb impresses with, as expected, explosive fruit. A well-balanced balance of berry sweetness and wonderful acidity leads to the surprisingly dry finish.
Sakiškių alus Blackcurrant Brut Ale is a complex summer beer that, thanks to its dark fruit notes, tastes excellent even when it is cold and uncomfortable outside.
