The pandemic thwarted many plans in 2020. Vacations have been canceled, weddings postponed and projects put on hold. For a while the whole world stood still.
The hands of the brewers from Sakiškių alus were also tied. Suppliers were cut off and many ingredients were impossible to buy. In order to still brew beer, the brewers went looking for ingredients in their own brewery and actually found them: In addition to the usual suspects hops, malt and yeast, they found oatmeal and the zest of oranges and lemons. How fortunate!
With a new found vigor, a beer was created that conjures up a smile behind the mask even in times of lockdown.
Sakiškių alus Orange and Lemon Zest Pale Ale is a fluffy, fluffy beer that is golden blonde in the glass. A hand’s breadth of fine, beige foam sits enthroned on the amber-colored beer and exudes a refreshing citrus scent. The initial taste exceeds all expectations: Incredibly fresh and fruity, a whole range of aromatic citrus notes spreads out on the tongue. A crisp bitterness accompanies the lemony play of aromas. Acidity, fruitiness and bitterness are perfectly balanced and create a refreshing fruit experience with a kick.
We like to stay at home with a case of this drinkable beer!
