You can't improve on nature, but you can use it as your benchmark. Export beers have a long tradition in Germany, including at the Greiz Brewery. With an alcohol content of 5.2% ABV, Export beer is higher than Pilsner. This higher alcohol content allows the beer to keep longer and, in the past, to be transported over longer distances, hence the name "Export." To increase the alcohol content, more malt is used in the brewing process. Due to this higher malt content, the aroma of Greiz Export is particularly malty. The color of Export beer is a rich golden yellow. The fine, elegant hop notes perfectly round off this exceptional taste experience.
