Brewed according to the German Purity Law and Greiz brewing tradition. The original recipe for Greizer Urbräu dates back to the brewery's founding in 1872. Today, Greizer Urbräu is, of course, brewed using state-of-the-art technology. Back then, beers weren't as heavily hopped as a modern pilsner. The intense malt notes and mild hop bitterness still evoke the taste of our brewery's founding era and serve as a liquid tribute to the old brewmasters.
