An IPA from Franconia? Of course!
The Binkert brewery is best known in the craft beer scene for its hospitality. Countless Gypsy brewers have already been able to brew their craft beer in the hallowed halls of the brewery in Breitengüßbach, Franconia. But that’s not Jörg’s only feat of glory. The passionate master brewer is not only a top host, but also a top brewer. The beers from Binkert are regional, honest and excellent.
Jörgs IPA is no exception. The India Pale Ale has become the flagship of the craft beer movement and is now enjoyed by many beer lovers. The IPA has its roots in England, where it was brewed and packaged well before being shipped to the colonies in India. The high hop content and percentages ensure that the beer can be stored optimally over a long period of time. Today the IPA doesn’t have to last as long, but it has to taste good!
And the IPA from Binkert always does that. Jörg’s IPA flows into the glass in a wonderful golden tone and forms a stately, white head of foam. A pleasantly fruity scent emerges from the foam and creates a potpourri of melon, peach, green apple and orange. The mixture of subtle sweetness and tangy acidity is also reflected in the taste: a velvety-sweet malt note sets the stage for a fireworks display of hoppy excellence. The aromas of tropical fruits hit the tongue powerfully. Lychee, peach and mandarin can be tasted, a hint of pine resin brings an elegant bitter note to the aromatic play.
An extremely successful IPA that leaves you thirsty for more!
