Can or bottle? Brewers around the world ask themselves this question and come to very different conclusions. There are people who categorically reject the can because they associate it with cheap booze and industrially produced liquor. Others, however, see the positive properties of the metal containers: They are light and, thanks to their impermeability to light and air, offer optimal storage conditions for the barley juice; The can is fully recyclable and stackable. It is also ideal for exporting beer to other countries because it works outside the deposit system and does not incur any additional costs if it does not return to the brewery.
For all of these reasons, the Rittmayer brewery has decided to pursue a two-pronged approach. It continues to be bottled for regional sales. Beer in cans is now available for exporters and everyone who lives further away and wants to take fine Rittmayer beer home with them. The material for the cans is 100% recycled and fits perfectly into the brewery’s sustainable concept.
After Beer For Future, we now also carry the popular light beer from Rittmayer in cans. The balanced country beer impresses with a variety of hop notes that produce floral, herbal and fruity notes on the palate. A fresh drink with a mild bitterness and delicious in bottle and can!
