Nuremberg is a city that has a lot to offer: in the medieval center one colorful half-timbered house is lined up next to the next, churches, museums, cafés and shops invite you to stroll and browse and in between you can fortify yourself with a couple of the famous Nurembergers in the Weckla . The finely seasoned grilled sausages are part of the city’s cultural heritage, as are the historic parts of Nuremberg. The northernmost of these districts is Gründlach.

When it was founded, the district was called Crintilaha. A thousand years ago, there was a lively hustle and bustle and people settled in the north of Nuremberg. In 2021, the millennial celebration unfortunately had to be canceled due to the pandemic, but the Gründlacher made up for the festival the following year. A run around the town center raised money for local youth work, small art exhibitions took place here and there, the village was renovated, decorated and spruced up and there were events throughout the year with music, dance and culinary delights. One of them was the Crintilaha beer from Orca Brau, specially created for the anniversary. Together with a group of talented home brewers called Fanny Bräu, the Nuremberg brewery has created a classic beer that puts you in a party mood with 5.5% alcohol content, malty body and the aroma of sapphire hops.
