Wild, wilder, Gräg!
Gräg sounds like the new colleague from the far north. Calm, calm, a bear of a man - at least that's what we imagined under the name Gräg. But in reality it's much better than that: Gräg is another banger from Flügge. A wild, sour IPA that, like many of Joachim and Dominik's beers, was fermented with the Norwegian yeast kveik. To make the mouthfeel a little more luxurious, Gräg was also fermented with lactic acid bacteria. These give the beer a wonderfully velvety consistency and give the taste a nice acid kick.
Three hop varieties create an exciting taste, and Gräg was also cold hopped with Chinook and Citra.
In addition to the flyweights Smilla or Fil, Gräg packs a punch with 7.4% alcohol content. However, the percentages are so elegantly integrated into the sophisticated taste image that they are in no way negatively noticeable. On the contrary: the light acidity and playful sweetness of the IPA are wonderfully complemented by the alcohol. With a truckload of summer-fresh fruit, Gräg is the perfect companion for warm evenings by the lake, barbecue sessions with friends and a cozy end to the weekend on the balcony at home!
