The Eschenbach private brewery has been producing beer for almost 275 years. The Wagner family is now in the eighth generation at the helm of the traditional company and continues the legacy of their ancestors with pride, dedication and passion. Although the brewing facility has changed and modernized several times since the brewery was founded, not much has changed in the range. To this day, the Wagners offer their customers a selection of down-to-earth beers that wonderfully represent the brewing art of Franconia and Bavaria.
A brew that practically carries its long history in its name is the archetype. This classic pale beer has been produced at Eschenbacher for a long time and is still very popular today. The brew brings a pleasant 4.8% alcohol content to the table and shines in bright, crystal-clear gold in the glass. The beer is crowned with a cap of thick, white foam and smells intoxicatingly of hearty grain, fragrant hay and delicate citrus fruit. The first sip follows the same pattern and offers us a well-balanced range of flavors that contain notes of gently roasted malt, oven-fresh bread, floral hops and creamy forest honey. A hint of citrus zest and a mild bitterness round off the aromas neatly.
The Eschenbacher Urtyp Hell is a classic that tastes good on any occasion and quenches your thirst for beer.
