There are some unusual ingredients in our wide range of exciting beers: David Hertl is known for his fondness for cucumbers, the Lithuanians from Sakiškių alus have a weakness for beetroot and the other wild craft brewers are not afraid of fruits, flowers and to use other flavor carriers. The Irish brewery Rye River joins a long line of creative minds and complements our collection of beers with special raw materials with another, flavor-intensive example.
Rye Rivers brewers use the exotic aromas of prickly pear and blood orange for their Fruited Sour High Noon. The limited edition is brewed with three types of malt and only one type of hops. The stars in the ring are clearly the two fruits: blood orange and prickly pear run like a red thread through the drinking pleasure. They give the golden beer a delicate copper-red sheen and rise into the nose when poured. There the tropical fruits combine with tart grapefruit, freshly harvested berries and a hint of melon to create a summery bouquet. The taste follows the foot and brings juicy notes of pink grapefruit, sun-ripened blood orange, sour cherries, strawberries and raspberries and subtle undertones of watermelon.
High Noon is an absolute thirst quencher and refreshes you with fine acidity, juicy fruit and a touch of exoticism.
