Brunch is the perfect meal for those who love the elements of breakfast, but not the time of day it traditionally takes place. Brunch includes all the favorites of a good breakfast - we’re thinking bacon, pancakes with maple syrup, cereal, and coffee - and shifts them two to three hours toward lunchtime. Fabulous!
The guys and girls from Rye River Brewing think it’s fabulous too. So fabulous, in fact, that they’ve put the brunch in a can. Their beer-based version of the best of all meals is a Baltic Breakfast Porter, which combines freshly brewed coffee, smoky maple syrup, fried bacon and a hint of Irish whiskey to create an irresistible brew. And because that’s not great enough, this fine tipple is now also available in a barrel-aged version to mark the brewery’s 10th anniversary. The deep black delicacy was stored in single malt Irish whiskey and maple syrup barrels. The end result is a brilliant birthday beer with a celebratory 12.5% alcohol content and a complex flavor profile consisting of strongly roasted malt, bittersweet mocha, copper-gold maple syrup, spicy whiskey, fine men’s chocolate and a hint of smoked bacon.
Rye River Brewings Brunch is a delight for morning, noon and night, and is especially good for brunch. Brunch and brunch – what could be better?
