This year, Browar Pinta took on a very special challenge: The Polish brewery, otherwise known for its heavily hopped IPAs, dedicated itself to traditional beer styles in 2025. Some brews were rescued from oblivion, while other classics were given entirely new interpretations. This triumph of time-honored brewing traditions combines classic taste with state-of-the-art brewing technology and contemporary ingredients – and offers a fresh perspective on the beer creations of the past.
Part of this exciting series is Sommer, a fresh, hop-forward cellar beer.
Kellerbier is a typical Bavarian style, originally enjoyed in summer. Brewed during the cold spring months, it was then served in beer gardens above the storage cellars. This unfiltered brew is characterized by its refreshing nature and the perfect balance between crisp hops and spicy malt. Pinta's interpretation pours a warm amber gold from the can and is crowned with a thick, white head. The slightly hazy beer offers aromas of floral, fruity hops and freshly baked biscuits. Both of these flavors are reflected in the taste, combining with herbs, zesty lemon, bread, and a harmonious bitterness to create an irresistible beer.
For those looking for a refreshing accompaniment to their snack, Pintas is the perfect choice for summer!
